Mymuna Hussain
After obtaining her initial degree in pharmacology, Mymuna developed her passion around patient-centred care by undertaking a further degree in podiatry, in which she has enjoyed a very successful career over 17 years.
Throughout her podiatry career, Mymuna has attained a wealth of knowledge and can help her patients with a wide range of dermatological and nail pathologies, ranging from mild to severe. She carries out diabetic foot assessments and delivers advice and management on painful conditions such as bunions, neuromas, plantar fasciitis, achilles tendinopathy and heel pain.
Mymuna specialises in advanced treatments, such as corrective ingrown nail surgery, verruca needling (Faulkner’s needling) and Low Level Laser Therapy (PhotobiomodulationTherapy) which she uses to heal and repair a wide range of foot and musculo-skeletal problems, and she also enjoys the aesthetic side of foot care, delivering medical pedicures and carrying out the reconstruction and remodelling of damaged nails.
