LOW LEVEL LASER THERAPY / PHOTOBIOMODULATION PBM THERAPY FOR DISEASES

• Stimulates healing and repair on a fundamental level

• Treatment without pain, drugs or significant side effects

• Will not interact with existing medication

Leigham Practice has 23 years experience treating problems in those who suffer with extreme and fragile conditions. Low Level Laser Therapy offers rapid relief, improved quality of life and lasting results.

Treatment boosts the biochemical processes of healing and repair and can be used for a wide variety of diseases, including auto-immune disorders.

Laser Therapy is not ‘complimentary medicine’; it is a medical treatment with research published in all major medical journals and is currently one of the fastest growing sectors of healthcare. Treatments are rapidly being developed for many conditions previously considered irreversible or untreatable as treatment works in a fundamental way.

We have established protocols for problems such as:

  •  Ankylosing Spondilitis
  • Apthous (Mouth) Ulcers
  • Arterial Ulcers
  • Baker’s Cyst
  • Bell’s Palsy
  • Bone Repair
  • Carpal Tunnel
  • Diabetic Ulcers
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Fractures
  • Gout (Acute Flare)
  • Ischaemic Ulcers
  • Lymphoedema
  • Muscle Spasm
  • Neuropathy and neuropathic pain
  • Osseointegration
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Pressure Sores
  • Rheumatoid Arthritis (Inflamed)
  • Trigeminal Neuralgia
  • Venous Ulcers
  • Wound Healing

This list is not an exhaustive list, so please contact us if you have problems and we will forward your query to one of our team who can let you know what they feel can be realistically achieved.

Why haven’t I heard of this?

You should ask the person treating you. It’s fair to say that for many illnesses you could probably type your problem followed by ‘low level laser therapy’ into a search engine and research will show up. It’s also fair to say that within 10 years it will become widespread.

Can anyone receive treatment?

Pretty much, with only a few exceptional conditions. For example, its perfectly safe on children and for women during pregnancy, but we would not use the laser directly over the uterus area. Also, since treatment stimulates a ‘normalising effect’ we would not want to treat someone taking immune suppressants for life threatening reasons, such as to stop an organ being rejected, without careful discussion with your consultant.

Do I need a consultants approval?

No. The treatment does not interact with medication, and has no side effects in almost everyone, so in almost all cases we do not need approval or permission. However, we are happy do discuss your care and management of your condition (with your approval) with any healthcare professional, including your GP or hospital consultant.
