Microneedling is a safe cosmetic procedure carried out by Jing Ye, who originally qualified as a medical doctor in China.
Over the past 30 years, she has developed her interests in acupuncture for health and cosmetic reasons, and now offers a range of cosmetic treatments.
Microneedling helps to even out acne scarring and improves the texture of the skin by making it smoother.
Microneedling also improves the quality of the skin by stimulating the physiological processes that trigger rejuvenation.
Microneedling can be an excellent substitute for people who do not wish to have injectables, such as Botox, as microneedling helps reduce wrinkles by stimulating collagen production.
It is the process of losing collagen and elastin over time that causes the production of fine lines and wrinkles and results in the skin becoming less elastic, which causes it to sag.
Microneedling is a treatment proven to stimulate collagen and elastin production and therefore effectively reverses some of the underlying physiological processes affected by age.
Treatment provides advanced skin micro-surgical needling, which stimulates the skin to regenerate and repair itself naturally and safely, creating smoother, brighter, healthier, and younger looking skin.
Jing uses a professional Dermal Pen, which ensures far greater control of the depth of needling than the more commonly used dermal roller. Controlled depth needling stimulates collagen and elastin to thicken the skin, helps repair scars and smooth out fine lines and wrinkles.
Microneedling also causes growth of new capillaries, which improves blood supply to the skin.
Microneedling is a natural skin rejuvenation and scar repairing therapy which can treat many conditions, fior example:
If you have any specific problems not listed above, please contact us and we will ask Jing if she feels she can help.
Microneedling is usually tolerable, however a numbing cream can be used, and is recommended in any case for those with a low tolerance to pain and can be discussed at your assessment.
To bring about rapid, lasting changes, we recommend three microneedling treatments between 4-6 weeks apart, and then once every three to six months as a top up, as necessary. You should notice the changes approximately 4-6 weeks after starting your first treatment.
Simply book an assessment with Jing to check your suitability for microneedling, talk about the areas of concern. It’s really important that you proceed to treatment with a good understanding of what Jing feels is realistically achievable, which will be explained to you.
If you are suitable, you can go through the consent form and aftercare leaflet so that you know to manage your skin after the procedure.
The assessment is approximately 15 minutes and is just £25. If you decide to proceed with the procedure, we can redeem this assessment fee against the cost of the treatment.
