With easy access to South East and South West London, our medical and complementary practice was established in 1983 and includes chiropody/podiatry, physiotherapy, osteopathy, acupuncture, massage therapy and a range of lifestyle treatments.
The two essential elements of our practice are it's ethos and the quality and skills of our staff. The ethos of the practice is to treat our patients as safely, rapidly and effectively as possible to provide long-term relief and benefits, and so build on our long established reputation. We also know that the quality of your care is directly related to and dependent upon the quality of your practitioner. A brief summary of our services include:
Podiatry / Chiropody: We have a team of experienced podiatrists able to offer help, treatment and advice for a wide range of foot and ankle problems. From simple needs, such as a medical pedicure, up to complex problems our team are likely to be able to help. Nail problems such as thickened, irregular or ingrown nails can be cosmetically improved, reshaped or permanently corrected if troublesome. Skin conditions such as verruca, athlete's foot and bacterial problems can be treated and corns and callus removed. FOot and ankle pains such as neuroma, plantar fasciitis, metatarsalgia and heel pain can be resolved. We also care for foot problems associated with general problems such as diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis and neurological problems. We have a biomechanics specialist offering gait analysis and prescription orthotics for problems associated with the structure and function of the foot, such as hallux valgus, hallus limitus, and ankle equinus. We work closely with a consultant podiatric surgeon offering treatment for bunions, hammer toes, claw toes, neuroma and other complex problems where surgery can offer correction. Physiotherapy: Our team of physiotherapists are exceptional individuals who offer effective treatments for a wide range of problems. Not only are common problems such as tendonitis, tenosynovitis, RSI, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, back pain and sprains and strains covered, we also manage sports injuries, work-related injuries and help recovery from surgery or stroke. Our team use specialist techniques such as acupuncture and pilates as well as therapeutic lasers and ultrasound to reduce healing times and speed recovery. Osteopathy: Our osteopath is a member of both the General Osteopathic Council and the British Osteopathic Association and offers both osteopathy and cranial osteopathy for a diverse range of musculo-skeletal problems and children specific conditions. From the postural and physical changes that affect women during pregnancy, they can also help babies with colic, sleep problems and other common conditions. Our osteopathic consultant, who is also trained in acupuncture, treats back and spine problems, muscle and ligament problems associated with sports, sleep, driving or work. Acupuncture: Our acupuncturist team consist of two experienced members of the British Acupuncture Council. Whilst their training is in Traditional Chinese Medicine they have an appreciation of western approaches to health and can treat and support a wide spectrum of health problems. Their holistic approach offers help for headaches and migraines, anxiety and stress-related problems, digestive problems such as ulcers, nausea, irritable bowel syndrome and constipation, for breathing difficulties such as asthma and hay fever, for joint and muscle problems such as back pain, sciatica, arthritis and other arthritic and rheumatic problems. They have a specialist interest in female health and fertility problems, chronic conditions and allergies. Massage Therapy: We have two therapists who work together to offer unique treatments tailored to your needs or preferenced. We offer reflexology, aromatherapy, swedish massage, deep/strong massage, indian head massage, pregnancy and ante-natal massage and a wide range of massages for specific problems such as female health, anxiety/stress and sports. Whether you require soothing, stimulation or relaxation, our team can adapt to deliver a massage that is unique to you. Lifestyle Treatments: How you feel on the inside influences how you look on the outside, and it's als otrue that how you look and feel on the outide influences how you feel on the inside.
