The Leigham Practice has a long established reputation for delivering the finest care by working with exceptional professionals. We believe that the quality of the care and help you receive is as good as the physiotherapist who is treating you. Our physiotherapists are individual specialists who can also work as a team, so you can have confidence in receiving consistently high quality services across the board.

Giacomo Zangoni BSc (Hons), MCSP

When treating problems that are usually painful it helps to have a kind and gentle manner, but it also helps to be highly skilled. In addition to being an experienced physiotherapist, Giacomo is also a fully qualified Osteopath and can therefore pick and blend the best approaches to restore health and recover from illness as quickly as possible.

Giacomo is also one of the few physiotherapists who has undergone further training in low level laser therapy, which can be used with complete safety, without pain or side effects, to relieve pain and accelerate healing and recovery in a wide variety of problems and conditions.

Lorenzo Cordara  BSc (Hons), MCSP

Lorenzo launched his physiotherapy career with 1st Class Honours and has worked with sports clubs including professional basketball and football. He provides careful hands-on musculo-skeletal physiotherapy for general accidents and injuries in addition to orthopaedic and neurological conditions, taping techniques and elderly care conditions.

Lorenzo is also nearing completion of his Masters Level Osteopathy degree from the prestigious British School of Osteopathy and so can blend different approaches to heal and recover.

Mark Pitcher MSc, MCSP

Mark works with a wide spectrum of injuries in the workplace and through sports. He has worked with Millwall FC, Leeds Carnegie and Leeds Rhinos Rugby and Doncaster Rovers FC and with the England Under 16 Rugby Football Squad at Catterick Garrison.

In addition to his Masters Physiotherapy with distinction, Mark also has a 1st Class degree in Sports Science and Physiology and presently works taking referrals from Accident & Emergency at Kings College Hospital, so has to cope with anything and every injury that is thrown at him.

Kathryn Hughes BSc (Hons), MCSP

She is happy to treat a huge range of adult conditions, but she acts as our specialist in paediatric physiotherapy for children aged 5-16 and without neurological problems.

In her NHS career Kathryn offered mentoring of other senior physiotherapists and her other areas of expertise include orthopaedic problems,  sports injuries, chronic pain (adults and children) and rehabilitation after surgery.
