Protecting ourselves and our patients, while helping those who suffer, remains our reason for being. We continue to operate a physiotherapy, osteopathy and foot care service via telephone, video consultations and, for emergency or urgent problems, we can offer clinical appointments or home visiting service if physical treatment is needed.
Physiotherapy & Osteopathy
Our team are highly experienced and dual-trained, being both physiotherapists and osteopathy practitioners in one person. We offer telephone or online consultations to diagnose and recommend treatments and so avoid the need to leave your home to come in for treatment. If a clinical appointment or home visit were necessary we would take the online consultation into account and you would only pay the difference.
We’re temporarily operating our reception services remotely, so please telephone or contact us by email and tell us your name, your telephone number, a brief explanation of your problem and let us know if you have any health problems.
If you contact us between 9am and 3pm Monday to Friday we will aim to return your call within the hour, although our calls are also monitored at other times.
An Online or Telephone Consultation is £60 for a new patient. For an existing Leigham Practice patient with a new problem the fee is also £60 as this takes into account the additional extra time needed to perform a thorough assessment. Online consultations for new patients or new problems can take up to one hour. Follow-up online consultations are £55.
If, during an online consultation it becomes clear that a clinical appointment is absolutely necessary then we will only ask for the difference between our normal clinical fee, currently £65 for a new patient or new problem, so the difference is £5.
Home Visits are charged at our normal clinical fee plus an additional call out fee according to the distance as the crow flies of £16 within 0.5km, increasing by an additional £8 per 0.5km thereafter.
Many insurance companies cover telephone/video consultations and have their own fees for this – just obtain an authorisation number in the usual way before booking an appointment.
Podiatry / Chiropody – Foot Problems
We can offer expert foot care for urgent problems, emergencies, or problems that may develop into an emergency, for example, if you have a sudden, painful foot problem, or you are worried about a problem developing, such as infection or ulceration.

One of our team will call your back to assess your problem and decide whether this can be helped without the need to attend. There is no charge for this service.
We may offer you an appointment, either at the clinic or we could attend your home.
Clinical Appointment is £55 for people new to podiatry and £50 for subsequent follow-up treatment.

Although face-to-face acupuncture services are temporarily suspended under guideance from the British Acupuncture Council, our team are offering Online Consultations to offer acupuncture assessments, support and advice. Our team are genuinely complementary and can work alongside conventional medicines to support your health. They may be able to discuss natural remedies to help support common problems and may recommend acupressure points tailored to your specific problems that can be tried at home. They can suggest additional points for general health and well-being.

Massage and Aesthetic Services
These services are temporarily suspended.
Please remember your GP will be operating a call back service and they will have further information on accessing NHS services. You can also dial 111, though the online service may give you quicker access to local services – https://111.nhs.uk/
Though we will always try to help, please respect the decisions of our team, who have strict guidelines on who can be treated and may have higher priorities.
