The core services of podiatry include the treatment of corns and callus, ingrown nails, verrucae and dermatological conditions. From the very young, to the young at heart, we provide foot care for all the family. Podiatrists also understand the association between foot/leg problems with the way the body is structured and the way it moves. Our foot health services can not only provide relief for problems, they seek to correct problems wherever possible to provide you with long-term benefits.
We assess runners and athletes with repetitive or recurring pains related to the mechanics of movement and can provide specialist orthotics to help improve performance.
We can perfom child development checks for those concerned with their child's walking and can advise on the contributions parents can make to ensure problems are corrected early on.
We also have access to modern therapeutic equipment such as ultrasound and laser therapy which can reduce pain and restore function, quickly and effectively.
At the Leigham Practice we know that the quality of your treatment is directly related to the quality of the therapist.
